To Have and to Hold (a trade cap)

I generally like the idea of a straight man being coerced into being another man's bride, particularly if it's the boss having to become the 'wife' of one of his employees, and this was well done (I like the idea of the pink elephant  ). But - Coming from UK I had to look up 'green card', and , having looked at the rules, if they're both 'illegals', I don't see how having an outrageous gay wedding is going to help them get permanent resident status in the slightest? It might be different if Jose already had this status.
